Congratulations
We’re delighted to share that our drum-meister-general, Kenjo, and his wife have welcomed their beautiful daughter, Almathea, into the world! Both mum and baby are healthy and thriving, and Kenjo couldn’t be happier as he embraces his second bundle of joy in fatherhood.
Many of you know Kenjo for his energetic drum lessons and unwavering encouragement — qualities he’s now sharing with his newborn. As he navigates these early weeks of late-night lullabies and sweet milestones, we know he’ll find fresh inspiration for his teaching and music.
If you haven’t already, feel free to send your warm wishes when you’re next at the studio.
We’re all-in for the heartwarming stories this new chapter brings for him and his family. Congratulations Kenjo!
Student Spotlight
It’s time to point the spotlight at Kade. Over the past twelve months, he has been an integral part of everything at Jamm. Kade’s passion for guitar even extends to his collection of effects pedals — so much so that he constructed his own pedal board to house them. We were particularly impressed when he brought this homemade custom setup into the studio! Each week, Kade challenges himself to learn new songs, and at every lesson he melts his tutor’s face with a new epic riff!
Imagine our surprise when, one week, he couldn’t make it to class — turns out he had secured last-minute tickets to see Guns N’ Roses in concert. In our view, that’s an excellent excuse — certainly preferable to the old “my dog ate my homework”.
Earlier this year, Kade elevated his performance skills to the next level by delivering an unforgettable show at The Pearl Amphitheatre with his Jamm Factory band. He has also challenged himself to expand his musicality: a few months ago, he began taking vocal lessons to push his boundaries even further.
We know what it means to have a genuine passion for music, and Kade’s dedication shines through in abundance. There’s no stopping him, and we look forward to following his ongoing achievements in every musical endeavour.
Come to think of it, we should arrange a recording session for him soon!
