Student Showcase
The Pearl Amphitheater once again became the canvas for young dreams as we set the stage for a haven of youthful passion and promise.
This year, four awesome bands and a host of talented solo performers gathered to create an unforgettable night at the marina. The air was alive with energy. Families, friends, and mentors filled the venue with a shared sense of anticipation and excitement. The first-time performers were especially nervous, but the encouragement and community in what transpired allowed everyone to fully realise their potential and the show they delivered was nothing short of electrifying!
Young musicians each took their stance on stage to show The Pearl neighbourhood exactly what they can do, with solo classical piano pieces to rock and heavy metal anthems, our Jammsters brought an eclectic mix of musical tastes and talent right into the marina’s backyard. Even passers-by were stopped in their tracks as they sensed the electric atmosphere lure them in.
The resounding applause and beaming smiles after every song were a testament to the hard work and talent of every performer. Our second student showcase not only celebrated a memorable evening of live music but also set the stage for even greater adventures.
We couldn’t be prouder of the vibrant spirit our students brought to life — and we already look forward to the next unforgettable chapter in our musical journey.
Student Spotlight
This month in the student spotlight we have a guitarist who doesn’t stop working at rising to the challenge, whatever that might be!
Melek has been part of Jamm Studios for 7 months, and since starting she has levelled up her guitar skills countless times, continually surprising her tutor with a passion for music and a desire for improvement. Our Jamm Factory leader Andrea notices how Melek always puts in the work to prepare for her band, showing an inner determination to propel herself forward.
In the student showcase Melek was the only musician to feature as a solo performer and as part of a band! She hasn’t shied away from any opportunity that has come her way, and just this month, she completed her first Student Jamms recording session!
