Student Showcase
On a cold and windy evening of the 29th of February, a stage was ready bustling with young musicians full to their fingertips with giddy excitement and ambition. Set at the The Pearl Amphitheater located at the end of Porto Arabia backdropped by a beautifully lit marina occurred an event that had been years in the making.
Earlier that day an unbelievable misfortune occurred during the set-up. A mis-configuration of the power supply at the venue resulted in tens of thousands of riyals worth of electrical equipment getting fried — destroyed. Only a few hours before the start of the event things were looking bleak.
No working PA system means no event. All hands on deck! On the brink of disaster, it was miraculous that the space was ready in time for the concert.
As attendees and participants arrived, whatever inconvenience the weather brought to bear paled against the anticipation and excitement growing inside everyone — parents thrilled to experience an unforgettable moment of their child’s musical journey — friends who frivolously tagged along to see what the fuss was all about — tutors set on inspiring the best out of their students — and of course the musicians singularly focussed on giving a performance of their lifetime!
When showtime arrived they didn’t disappoint. Everyone showed their best and what a night to remember for all involved. Each musician rocked the crowd and drew roaring applause after their performances. We are incredibly proud of every individual that took part and are already looking ahead at the next great experience we can provide our amazing students.

Benjamin
Our student in the spotlight is the remarkably talented Benjamin, who has embraced every opportunity that has come his way, showcasing his versatility in both drumming and guitar playing across a myriad of platforms. From recording sessions and live concerts to both solo and ensemble performances, Benjamin has left a mark of excellence in each.
Joining our community not long ago, Benjamin’s rapid progress on the drums and guitar has been nothing short of spectacular.
His ability to adapt and excel in various musical settings — whether delivering a compelling drum performance or shredding a guitar solo in his band — speaks volumes about his dedication and natural flair for music.
As we spotlight Benjamin this week, we’re not just celebrating his achievements but also looking forward to the exciting path that lies ahead of him in his musical journey. His story is a shining example for our community, encouraging every student to seize every opportunity and explore their full potential in the world of music.
