Where do we start…? Despite the persistent disruptions to normality we have many positive things to share! Welcome back to the newsletter, let’s begin!
We wish all of our students a blessed time during the Ramadan period. During this sacred time we are supporting all students that are looking to reschedule their lesson timings — fasting is an important sacrifice so our opening hours allow for sessions to take place in the morning or early afternoon, as well as later in the evening.
We are over the proverbial moon so many of you took advantage of our promotion in April — we love to give back to our most loyal students!
Ain’t No Rest For The Wicked
As the UK went into lockdown 3, Jamm Studios HQ once again moved all lessons online… It seemed like the pandemic really had us by the scruff of the neck, but we were prepared. With a clear strategy and a cohort of students that refused to give in, nothing was going to stop us. We adapted and thrived, and in fact our student base has grown!
We don’t rest on our laurels, so we released a new series of online courses for free!Better yet, these are being shared with Qatar too! If you haven’t had your fill, click the link below and get started.
Athena’s 5 Month Birthday
The whole team was invited to Kenjo’s (drum tutor) home to celebrate his daughters 5 month birthday! We received a warm welcome and a feast of traditional food (My personal favourite was the Bistek).
Athena was barely half a year old and she had such a great personality, it was great to see that she is part of such a loving family —
Even if it means our drum tutor requires 7 doses of coffee a day to keep running!
Student Jamms — Qatar episode 5 is out!
Episode 5 is the first episode of the year, show your support to those involved — some new faces alongside Jamm veterans in this episode — and ALL of them did an absolutely fantastic job.
Give it up for Feriel Ferjani (Vocals), Farooq Hussain (Drums), Bashayer Al-Ali (Guitar)
If you’re a student with us and you want to take part in our Student Jamms series just speak with your tutor to get involved.
See You Soon!
